Patients were divided into three age groups, ages zero months to 16 years. In all three groups, anidulafungin was administered at the same dose. Efficacy was assessed in a modified intent-to-treat population, consisting of 64 patients who were microbiologically confirmed with Candida infection. In each subgroup, global responses were better with anidulafungin than fluconazole.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-a88077a elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"a88077a\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h2 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"what-are-the-benefits-of-anidulafungin-injection\"><\/span>What are The Benefits of Anidulafungin Injection?<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-3be86ea elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"3be86ea\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>GD-Anidulafungin is an echinocandin with fungicidal activity against various Candida species. It has excellent efficacy and is considered the first choice for the treatment of serious Candida infections.<\/p><p>Anidulafungin is a semi-synthetic echinocandin that inhibits the 1,3-b-D glucan synthase. Glucan synthase is present in the walls of fungal cells, and inhibition of this enzyme leads to morphological changes and fungal cell death.<\/p><p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.surgicalhouses.com\/products\/Anti-fungal\/anidulafungin-injection\"><strong>Anidulafungin<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0has shown fungicidal activity against Aspergillus fumigatus fumigatus hyphae. It inhibits SFTSV infection by inhibiting cellular processes involved in the internalization of the virus and by blocking the formation of membrane-bound bacterial cells. It may be useful for treatment of a number of fungal diseases.<\/p><p>It is a lyophilized powder, packaged in single dose vials. It must be reconstitution with sterile Water for Injection.
